JAZZ VESPERS SERVICE 2017
I feel incredibly blessed to have worked with many outstanding and notable musicians in my life. Of particular note was a magical evening of jazz that I produced and arranged for featured legendary trombonist Bill Watrous. Bill had just spent a few days with me working with my jazz students at Harker Heights High School and graciously agreed to perform in a concert at First Baptist Church in Waco where I am on music staff. I put together an outstanding lineup of musicians and Bill and I decided to do a mix of jazz standards and sacred hymns that I arranged for the group.
Here is a rendition of “I Fall in Love Too Easily” of which I am particularly fond.
